Education
I received my BS in Psychology from The Ohio State University in 2013. I graduated from Bexley High School with a 4.7 GPA in my senior year (we received bonus points for AP and Honors classes). I achieved a 790 / 800 on the SAT Math as well as the SAT Math 2 "Subject Test". My overall score on the standard SAT was 1400 / 1600. I've since improved in my understanding of all SAT content.
Experience
I have been tutoring for about fifteen years. I began tutoring math, but I've since expanded my offerings into the realms of reading, writing, science, programming, music, logic, and lots of other stuff. I prefer to think of myself as a guide, rather than a tutor. I do not do homework for anyone. I focus on showing students how to find the knowledge they need, so that they can learn to teach themselves when nobody is around to help them. We must practice seeking our own answers if we ever hope to find our own answers, so I do my best to encourage students (and everyone else) to practice seeking, first and foremost.
